At Clearhipax, customer satisfaction is our priority. We understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations or requirements. This Return Policy outlines the conditions under which you can return products purchased from us and the process for requesting a refund or exchange.
This policy applies to all products available through our Wellness Essentials collection, including the Serenity Aromatherapy Set, Mindfulness Journal and Planner, and Comfort Herbal Tea Collection. By making a purchase from us, you agree to the terms of this Return Policy.
2. Return Eligibility
2.1 Return Window
You may return most products within 14 calendar days from the date you received the item. This is in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act and the European Union's Consumer Rights Directive, which grants consumers the right of withdrawal from distance contracts within 14 days.
The return period begins on the day you or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier) physically receives the product. If you ordered multiple items in a single order that are delivered separately, the return period begins on the day you receive the last item.
2.2 Conditions for Return
To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:
- The product must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it
- The product must be in its original packaging, including all accessories, labels, and protective materials
- You must provide proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation email or receipt
- The return request must be initiated within the 14-day return window
2.3 Non-Returnable Items
Certain products cannot be returned due to hygiene and safety reasons. These include:
- Products that have been opened or unsealed and cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons, such as opened aromatherapy sets or unsealed tea collections
- Products that have been personalized or customized to your specifications
- Products that have been significantly used, damaged, or altered after delivery
- Gift cards or vouchers

3. How to Initiate a Return

When contacting us, please include the following information:
- Your full name and contact details
- Order number or proof of purchase
- The product you wish to return

3.2 Return Authorization
After we receive your return request, we will review it and respond within 2 business days. If your return is approved, we will provide you with return instructions, including the return shipping address and any specific packaging requirements.
Please do not send products back without first receiving return authorization from us. Unauthorized returns may not be processed and may be returned to you at your expense.
3.3 Shipping the Return
You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the product was defective, damaged during delivery, or we sent you the wrong item. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost during return shipping.
Please package the product securely to prevent any damage during transit. If a product is returned in a damaged condition due to inadequate packaging, we reserve the right to reduce the refund amount to reflect the loss in value.
4. Refund Process
4.1 Inspection and Approval
Once we receive the returned product, we will inspect it to verify that it meets the return conditions outlined above. We will notify you of the status of your refund within 5 business days of receiving the returned item.
4.2 Refund Method
If your return is approved, we will process the refund to your original payment method. Depending on your payment provider, the refund may take an additional 5 to 10 business days to appear in your account. We will refund the full purchase price of the product, excluding any original shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.
4.3 Partial Refunds
In certain circumstances, a partial refund may be granted:
- If the product shows signs of use that reduce its value
- If the product is returned without its original packaging or accessories
- If the return is initiated after the 14-day window but within 30 days, at our discretion
5. Exchanges
If you would like to exchange a product for a different item, please initiate a return as described above and place a new order for the desired product. This approach usually allows faster processing and depends on current stock availability.
If the exchange is due to a defective or damaged product, we will cover the shipping costs for both the return and the replacement shipment.
6. Defective or Damaged Products
If you receive a product that is defective, damaged during shipping, or materially different from what was described on our website, please contact us immediately. In such cases:
- We will cover all return shipping costs
- You may choose between a full refund or a replacement product
- We may ask you to provide photographs of the damage or defect to help us improve our quality control processes
Under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, you are also entitled to statutory warranty rights that may provide additional protections beyond what is described in this Return Policy.
7. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund within the expected timeframe, please take the following steps:
- Check your bank account or payment method again, as processing times can vary
- Contact your bank or credit card company, as there may be a processing delay on their end

8. Right of Withdrawal Under EU Law
In accordance with the European Union Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, you have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you or a third party indicated by you acquires physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract by means of an unequivocal statement. You may use our contact form, email, or phone to communicate your withdrawal. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
